Presenter outlines

Presenters Name: Dr. Steven Vazquez, LPC-S, LMFT

Presenters Bio: Dr. Steven Vazquez, LPC-S, LMFT holds a doctorate in counseling psychology and is the founder of Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT®). He has written 3 books on it: -Emotional Transformation Therapy

-Accelerated Ecological Psychotherapy

-Spiritual Transformational psychotherapy

He has taught his work in 8 different countries and many U.S. cities. Dr. Vazquez has presented in over 60 professional conferences and many churches and other groups. He has developed new procedures to eliminate ADHD, OCD, borderline personality disorder, treatment-depression, dissociative disorders and anxiety disorders without pharmaceuticals. Dr. Vazquez has developed processes for the rapid relief of the stress component of physical pain, injuries, and illnesses.

Presentation Title: Helping Clients with “Transformation”

Presentation Description: The term “transformation” was chosen in the name Emotional Transformation Therapy because it indicates much more than simple change. It indicates a faster, more radical change that is more comprehensive. This feature differentiates ETT® from most other forms of psychotherapy. In many cases, not only does ETT® reduce unwanted symptoms but it may also produce a change of identity or self-perception. In many cases it can produce a significant change in consciousness. While unwanted symptoms are usually eliminated rapidly, people are often disoriented by either the speed or magnitude of change and find it difficult to integrate. We shall provide ways to help this issue.

Number of CEUs for presentation: 1

Educational objectives:

1. To recognize the features of cognitive dissonance.

2. To identify the features of transformation of psychological states.

3. To identify strategies for reconciling and experience that contradicts one’s belief about a matter.

Presentation Title: Internal Parts and Peripheral Eye Stimulation

Presentation Description: One of the ETT® modalities is the use of the peripheral eye stimulation goggles to access a greater variety of internal psychological parts within seconds. Previously buried internal parts can be used to rapidly resolve a vast number of emotional symptoms, physical symptoms and positive resources. This brain-based model of therapy extends possibilities of resolutions to issues that were not previously known.

Number of CEUs for presentation: 1.15

Educational objectives:

1. To identify that attachment patterns, role models and psychological defenses contribute to the formation of internal parts.

2. To learn that the peripheral eye stimulation can access internal parts of the psyche into awareness within seconds.

3. To learn that dysfunctional psychological inner parts can be changed by using internal parts composed of positive resource internal parts.
